DVM, PhD
United States
Carleigh got her first pony at the young age of 3. After participating in a variety of disciplines and show organizations, including 4-H, USPC, AQHA, USEA, and USDF, she migrated to Lexington Kentucky to pursue a job in the thoroughbred breeding industry.
Working her way up the ladder, she found herself as first the yearling manager and eventually the assistant manager and head of sales operations at the prestigious Hinkle Farms, breeder of G1 winners such as Divisidero and Weep No More.
In 2012, Carleigh returned to the University of Kentucky to obtain her doctorate in veterinary sciences, with a focus on equine reproduction. During this time, her passion for retraining, rehoming, and selling off the track thoroughbreds helped her maintain a stakehold in industry.
